Travel Information
Most main air-companies fly from Europe to Nairobi (approx 8 – 10 hours). From Nairobi there are corresponding flights to Mombasa (45 minutes). Many main airlines also fly from Europe to Mombasa (for example Ethiopian, Lufthansa Condor, KLM etc).
We can arrange pick up in Mombasa, the airport is 1,5 hours drive from Msambweni / Kaskazi Boutique Beach House. We recommend morning arrival in Mombasa.
If you fly in via Nairobi, you can also fly to Ukunda air strip in Diani (many airlines have direct flights there daily, including Jambojet, Fly540 and Kenya Airways). From Ukunda airstrip, there is only 25 minutes by car to Kaskazi Beach House. It is also possible to take the new, modern train from Nairobi to Mombasa (the train is driving through the Tsavo national park). The train station in Mombasa is a 1,5 hours drive (pick-up can be arranged).
